Much has been written on the temporary Internet files. To my surprise, it seems a lot of misconceptions about how these files are stored in the computer and the impact that they on their computer experience. Some articles recommend these files slow down your computer to a crawl, while others suggest that they store pigs. While some pointed out that these files only on the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

One thing that most authors make is the goal of the temporary Internet files. Let me make another statement to be clear.

Temporary Internet Files “is a collection of web page copies stored on the hard drive or Random Access Memory. Find the pages that are normally found in a cache folder for quicker the next time you visit the same page. Bowser the cached copy is the original. If not, the browser uses the cached copy rather than re-fetching of the original, save and download time.

Slowing down the computer?

The size of the file cache will cause the computer to stop only when the cache size is very large and fragmented. Due to the nature of the cache files are relatively small and are only used when loading Web pages and not for an indefinite time in memory. By adjusting the size of the cache in your browser to 5 MB or less, you can avoid the slowdown caused by the search into the browser cache files on the disk. My browser cache is much higher, 50MB, and I have no problems, even over a dial-up Internet connection. Internet is almost always slower due to network traffic.

Slow Hard Drive:

If your computer is running slow, there’s a good chance that is not to your temporary Internet files. Slow hard drive access is often caused by the fragmentation of files on your hard disk or your hard drive will soon be completed. Windows requires at least 15% free disk space to function properly. That is 15% of the area, including the Windows swap file

Web sites, security and temporary Internet files:

Websites are not the temporary Internet files on your computer. The Internet browser that the cached file automatically. Not to be confused with the temporary Internet files, cookies. Website cached cookies, but are separated from the temporary files. Also, no personal information such as passwords and automatically fill in information is stored in another safe place.

Internet browser:

Internet Explorer is just a Bad Boy? Well … no. If the IE is a Bad Boy, it’s because IE is a bad example of an Internet browser. All Internet browser cache of temporary Internet files. Currently, I have Firefox 3, Netscape 7.2., Netscape and Internet Explorer 8.0 installed and all of these 6.0xxx browser caching temporary Internet files in the same way.

It is a good idea to resize the cache file and delete the cache from time to time to dispose of unused, and possibly corrupted files. Caching of all types of file browser can be drawn from the browser menu options. I hope you now have a better understanding of the temporary Internet files. Temporary Internet files, passwords and automatically fill the data can be manually removed, but that’s another article. Surf.
